Captain Blood's Hand!

Ahoy Pirates!

It's been about 11 days since I made a blog post!! What's happening to me? Well.. I've been busy studying for tests and all of that good stuff.. but there's no need to worry because I'm still going to make blog posts when I can. This blog will continue to run and I promise I'm not giving up on it! I am also playing the games when I can. Today I had a chance to play Pirate101 since I finished all of my homework yesterday! :D I feel like I'm a new player again because there's been so many updates (such as the stagecoaches in Cool Ranch... wow)!

Before I talk about what I did today on the game, lets talk about what I did the last time I leveled my swashbuckler. On my last blog post I had to find a way to talk to Death to figure out how I can defeat Captain Blood and get his piece of map to El Dorado. If you would like to read everything that happened on my last blog post, click HERE, otherwise, keep reading this blog post! I found out that I had to get Captain Blood to play the rest of his cards so he can be defeated since he's immortal since he cheated Death. Today I had to sail to Tumbleweed to talk to Sly Winkum. Sly told me that I'd have to find Captain Blood's hand so I can play the cards with his own hand since Captain Blood wouldn't want to play the game (I mean... would you if you had eternal life? :P). Sly told me that El Toro was the one that cut Captain Blood's hand off in a duel and El Toro would know where I could find it. I had to sail to Santo Pollo and talk to El Toro (see picture above)... WAIT! DON RODRIGO IS EL TORO?!! :O I didn't see that coming!! LOL. Where was I??

I didn't have to sail to Santo Pollo since I had the stagecoach take me for only 15 gold! I think this is one of the best things KI could have added to the game.. A quicker way to travel in Cool Ranch.. Thank you, KI! Anyways, I made a quick trip to Santo Pollo and talk to El Toro and Mustang Sally and Don Rodrigo (El Toro) told me that he had a fight with Captain Blood on a cliff above Gold Creek in Big Sky. He said he cut his hand off and it fell into the lake above the creek. Carolina (Mustang Sally) & Don Rodrigo (El Toro) said they wanted to help me defeat Captain Blood and both joined my crew!! :D I sailed to Gold Creek shortly after and entered the lake and noticed I had to fight three ancient fish in 15 rounds! This fight was EASY, but hard at the same time since El Toro was defeated during the fight.. I think he was defeated on this same fight on my witchdoctor as well, but that doesn't mean he's a bad companion.. I know he'll help me out a lot in the future. :D

I defeated the fish in about 4-5 rounds with El Toro and Bonnie and only Bonnie and I survived this fight. After we defeated the fish, I noticed Captain Blood's hand in the distance. I collected it and before I ported out of the lake, I noticed there was also a companion training tome in the lake! I wanted to share this with anyone that might have not noticed this before or about to start this quest. I picked this up and Bonnie leveled up a level since I did. I know I didn't have enough for training tomes so this was a gift. :D After this quest, I had to sail back to Tumbleweed and tell Sly Winkum I had Captain Blood's hand. He told me the only thing I needed now was the cards so I could cast the cards with Blood's hand to take away his immortality. That's where I'm going to end my quest this week.. Hopefully I'll be free again next week because I really did enjoy making this blog post.. I'm sure most of you can tell by the amount of words that are on this post! :P Until next time, I'll see you around the spiral!

LEVEL 35!!! :D

I See Death!

Ahoy Pirates!

It's been so long since I made a character update! I decided to log onto the game today since it's Labor Day (no school ;D) and level my swashbuckler a little bit and make a blog post today! I know I told you that I wouldn't make any blog posts on Mondays but I will make a post if I have time or don't have any homework. I'm trying to keep my schedule but sometimes I get huge homework assignments from my professors that I have to have finished in a certain amount of time which has kept me off the game until today. :D

I'm going to talk about what I did on the game a few weeks ago before I tell you what I did today! The last time I quest on my swashbuckler, I had to find Sabatini (Captain Blood's former firstmate). I found Sabatini in an old Abandoned Church in the Haunted Skyway and there I also found Captain Blood. Sabatini kept telling me that I needed to find some kind of cards in Santo Pollo Skyway and Captain Blood ended up getting rid of him before he could finish his sentence. I had to defeat a few of Blood's henchmen (that fight was pretty easy). After I defeated his henchmen I had to sail to Santo Pollo Skyway to find Madame Esmeralda since she was the one who had the cards Sabatini was talking about. I found out that there was a way to get Captain Blood's piece of the map and defeat him once and for all. The last card ended with Death and Death would be the way to find a way to obtain Captain Blood's key. I had to sail to Santo Pollo and ask if anyone had corn to feed the birds since the birds would tell me where I could find Death (don't ask me why I'm on a mission to find Death :P)! Once I fed the birds, I found out I needed to find Black Bart. I have to offer Death something he wants so I can talk to him.. Black Bart is the key to getting the key. :P

Today I had to sail back to the Haunted Skyway to find lost souls. Black Bart led a group to the Haunted Skyway and betrayed them and scattered their spirits all over the Haunted Skyway. Today I had to sail around and find them so I could take them to the graveyard of the Old Church. I had to gather eight souls and once I got to 6, I was proud because I was sailing around without getting caught by bone snakes that were flying around the lost souls.. Don't think you'll never get caught until you're done collecting because once I thought I wouldn't, that's when I did and I had to fight them! :P That was a fun fight that has nothing to do with my quests, at least for now. After I collected the lost souls, I sailed to the Abandoned Church and walked to the graveyard and that's when I met Black Bart!

This fight was a pretty easy fight since I only had to defeat four enemies (first destroy the two tombstones just in case any other enemies tried showing up). Black Bart wasn't really a boss that I was worried about so I think that fight was fine.. :D I was worried about meeting Death! After I defeated Black Bart, Death ended up taking him! Death knew what I wanted and he told me exactly why Captain Blood is immortal. I found out that Captain Blood cheated Death over a card game by sneaking away and not playing. The bet was immortality and Death can't do anything to Captain Blood until he finishes the card game with his own hand. Now, I have to find out where to find Captain Blood's cards! On my next blog post, I'm going to speak to Sly Winkum to find out where his cards are and how I can get him to play the rest of the game. Until next time, I'll see you around the Spiral and thank you for reading this very long blog post! It really does mean a lot that you read my blog posts.. especially my silly blog posts. :)

The Cards!!

Ahoy Pirates!

I hope you are having an awesome Thursday. Can you believe tomorrow is Friday? I feel like this week went by so fast. I think it's going by fast for a reason (I'll make a post about that reason later :D), but for now I'm going to talk about what I did on the game. I haven't really leveled much on the game the past week and today I missed Pirate101 and decided to quest my swashbuckler a little bit. :)

Colonel Church said he'd help me find Captain Blood's firstmate, Sabatini, if I helped Lt. Masterson the last time I was on my swashbuckler. On my last post I had to help Masterson by gathering prisoners that escaped. I had to fight one of the prisoners, Crazy Horn. That boss wasn't all that difficult to defeat. After I defeated Crazy Horn I had to find the person that planned the jail break. I had to defeat Captain Foote and he was a much harder boss to defeat since there were more enemies in this fight. One of my companions was defeated but I made it through the fight with two of my companions. After I defeated Captain Foote I freed a Corporal that was in a cage and then I sailed back to Fort McMurtry. After I helped Bat, I went over to Colonel Church and he told me he knew where Sabatini was! Today I started questing by sailing to an Abandoned Church in the Haunted Skyway.. :O

Once I walked into the Old Abandoned Church, I found Sabatini AND Captain Blood! Sabatini kept repeating that I needed to look at cards and talk to the sisters on Isla de los Meurtos in the Santo Pollo Skyway. Captain Blood ended up (I think) killing Sabatini and he sent a few of his skeletal pirate minions after me. This fight was pretty easy! :D I'm not going to be too proud about this fight because I know I will have a quest or two that I might need help with. :P After I defeated the skeletal pirates I sailed to Isla de los Meurtos, Santo Pollo Skyway to talk to the sisters to find out more about these cards Sabatini was talking about..

I talked to one of the Fortune Tellers, Madame Esmerelda, and found out why I needed the cards. Madame Esmerleda said the cards would tell her an answer to any question I have. Bonnie asked where we could find Captain Blood's key so we could find the other piece of the map to El Dorado. The first card that represents the past said I would face deception, betrayal and mutiny if I don't set things right. The second card that was picked up represented the present, which means I still need to figure out how to get the key from Captain Blood. The last card that was picked up represented death.... The end of the world. NO, I'm kidding. :P The last card means there's a solution to my question. Captain Blood cheated Death and Death is now the source of Captain Blood's power and Death will show me the way to obtain Captain Blood's key. This is where I'm going to end the post today. Thank you all for reading these posts.. It really means a lot that you do read them. Before I end this post.. there's an image attached below which is a peek of my next post. Until next time, I hope to see you around the spiral. :D

Lt. Jim Masterson

Ahoy Pirates!

I hope all of you are having a great Thursday! Today I got to level my swashbuckler and thought I'd make a post since today is my last day of blogging everyday. I've made a blog post about Wizard101 or Pirate101 everyday this month! I'm shocked because it's the first time I've ever made a blog post everyday in one month. I had a lot to blog about this month. :D I also have a lot to talk about today, so get ready for a long post! :D

Before I tell you what I did today, I'm going to talk about the quests I had to complete on my last post. On my last blog post I defeated the Wild Bunch and finally entered the Haunted Skyway. I sailed to Fort McMurtry to find Captain Blood's firstmate. I found Colonel Church and he told me that he wanted me to sink eight ships before he would tell me anything about Blood's firstmate. When I finished sinking the ships, he told me that Sabatini (Blood's former firstmate) left Fort McMurtry. He also said he'd help me find out more information if I helped Lieutenant Jim Masterson. Today I had a chance to help Masterson out. I found out that there was a jailbreak and he wanted me to help find them prisoners. I found Weasley (a prisoner)  by asking around and he went back easy. I found out that I had to find a second prisoner, Crazy Horn, in a Vortex near Tumbleweed..

Crazy Horn wasn't a hard boss to defeat because I had to use spells on a ship first. This is something I really like about Pirate101.. If you're about to fight a mob on a Pirate ship, you can use as many attacks as you can before you enter battle. The pirate ship they were on kept sailing toward my ship so I had to back up. You can use as many attacks as you can and then when you're ready, enter the battle. You will notice that the enemies health is lower than it normally is. The enemies health is lower because you attacked the ship and the lower the ship health is, the better chance the enemies on the ship's health is lower. This boss and his crew was easy to defeat because of this. :D Keep this in mind when you're about to fight enemies aboard a ship. :) I promise this will help you! After I finished this fight I had to sail back to Fort McMurtry to tell Bat the good news.

When I arrived, Bat told me that he knew who helped the prisoners escape. Bat told me that I could find Captain Foote in a Vortex behind Fort McMurtry. I had to find an area in the vortex called the Hang Em' Jail but ended in the wrong place. I had a quest from the Commodore in the same area I was in and ended up fighting in the wrong battle for about 20 minutes! I even took a lot of screenshots so that was very confusing.. I will get three training tomes for my companions but this is a warning to anyone that has that same quest.. Don't enter the middle dungeon, enter the dungeon to your left! Don't make the same mistake I did unless you want some training tomes. :P I finally found the right dungeon by looking around the area. The fight I was supposed to fight took a little bit and one of my companions did die. To tell you the truth, all three of my companions that entered this battle almost died but my character and two of my companions were lucky enough to live. This fight took awhile to complete but we finally did it. I freed a Corporal that was kept there and I use the Life Fountain option to teleport back to Fort McMurtry since there are a ton of bloodbats in from of the vortex and I didn't want to get caught. I told Bat that I found the guy and he was happy that I helped him find all of the prisoners including the leader. This is where I'm going to stop this post because I already think it's too long of a post! :P I'll attach one last picture to this post to finish the post. Until next time, I'll see you around the spiral!

Edward Cringle: Bonnie Anne's Second Promotion

Ahoy Pirates!

I can't believe how hot it is today!! It was pretty hot yesterday too and that's another reason I logged on to Pirate101 for a few hours and I didn't just level my swashbuckler in the haunted skyway. I decided to  promote one of my companions, Bonnie Anne. This quest was a pretty hard quest to complete because there was multiple parts of the quest. I had to sail all over Skull Island and talk to different people so Bonnie could get her new weapon and bullets. I had to fight monquistians, sink armada ships to collect something from them and then fight armada soldiers before I promoted Bonnie Anne. I remember promoting my witchdoctor's Bonnie Anne and it took just as long to promote her. If you're about to start Bonnie Anne's second promotion quest, don't worry! This quest might take a long time but it's not as bad as it might seem. I think it took me anywhere from 30 minutes - 1 hour to complete this quest. If you are on this quest, I wish you good luck! Here's a picture of Edward Cringle's 2nd promoted Bonnie Anne! :D
